The Piero Atchugarry Gallery in collaboration with Studio la Città presents 50 Years, a Day. Studio la Città, a Story., curated by Marco Meneguzzo, is a retrospective group exhibition of works by 17 artists that encompass fifty years of the extensive career of Hélène de Franchis, Studio la Città’s founder. The exhibition brings overseas a bevy of paintings, sculptures, photography, and installation constituting a unique self-portrait of the gallery owner through the decades.
The exhibition featured emblematic works by Stuart Arends, Gabriele Basilico, Pier Paolo Calzolari, Lawrence Carroll, Vincenzo Castella, Lynn Davis, Lucio Fontana, Alberto Garutti, Herbert Hamak, Jacob Hashimoto, Igino Legnaghi, David Leverett, Emil Lukas, Giulio Paolini, Michelangelo Pistoletto, David Simpson and Ettore Spalletti.
